So I mentioned CB12 in a blog just last week and I've already run out of the mouthwash, which I'm itching to get more of. I've never tasted a mouthwash as good as CB12 before. There's no typical burning sensation and the after taste isn't bland or too clinical. I got the opportunity to try out more of their range which included their own brand of chewing gum, CB12 Boost. Like the CB12 mouthwash, the chewing gum prevents bad breath and contains fluoride which also helps prevent tooth decay! There's 10 pieces per pack and from the packaging, it kind of looks like you're popping pills. I tried to look inconspicuous, however when I was handing them out to other people, I did get the odd person giving me a funny look.
The chewing gum is certainly different to your regular market store brands. It's a semi-solid outer layer that's easy to crack but is thicker than the outer casing of other chewing gum brands. What I noticed instantly was the burst of strong mint that exploded onto my taste buds! The freshness is a little like Airwaves, where it feels as if your airways have completely cleared.
The only negative about this product is that the taste doesn't last forever. I agree that most chewing gums do tend to become icky after chewing it for an hour, however these chewing gums do lose their taste faster. Now for the scientific part...
'It has a unique formula that instantly prevents any bad breath odours. CB12 boost contains zinc, fluoride and xylitol, so it's triple action too – elevating acid neutralisation, inhibiting plaque growth and strengthening your teeth against cavities while it gives you safe breath confidence.'
CB12 Boost Chewing Gum is available at multiple stores like Boots, but I found them for only £1.00 here.
CB12 Mouthwash is available here for £5.95.
I'm certainly going to be purchasing some more chewing gum and mouthwash as I'm officially hooked on it! Why not try it yourself and let me know what you think in the comments below...
