I love a good beauty buying session so that's why I thought I'd share with you my latest purchases from off the high street!
First off is something I've wanted ever since they first rolled onto the beauty shelves. The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge was a steal at £4.49. I'm pretty sure at one point that these were just over £10 in either Superdrug or Boots, so if it was then thank god they've seen sense and brought down the price. I've been using this non stop to apply and blend my concealer and foundation and it works a treat.
This was an impulse buy and one that I didn't intend to purchase in the first place. Soap & Glory's Pillow Plump XXL is certainly a product that's been interesting to use. Whether it actually plumps my lips has yet to be proved but as soon as you apply the product, within minutes your lips are tingling. It's no hugely uncomfortable but feels like your lips have pins and needles. Weird I know. Either way at £10, it's a little on the pricey side but I have found that it certainly smoothens my lips after it's done it's work.
Oh my loves, these are my favourite make-up products that are in my make-up bag and hand bag EVERYDAY! The NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks are perfect if you want a matte effect but moisturising lipstick. It goes on like a gloss but mattifys your lips, making them look effortless and Insta-worthy. At £6.50, these are more than reasonable and I personally want the entire collection...
Mentioned in a previous blog, are these lip oils from Barry M. Perfect for this summer weather we have had and would hopefully work just as well in the winter. They come in two different shades, Go Loco and Berry Good which has a slight pink tint. The highly nourishing and moisturising ingredients make their price irresistible at only £4.99 each. So why not get them both?!
Supercat, supercat she's supercatty. See what I did there? No? Well this eyeliner has changed my eyeliner life. My once squiggly eyeliner is now a graceful and 'on fleek' work of art. Soap & Glory Eyeliner Pen in Carbon Black will make all your friends go green with envy! You can find this in most Boots' stores for £6.00.
Seeing as my brow powder crumbled to an embarrassing mess the other day, I thought it only right to get myself an eyebrow pencil and test it out. Now I'm not much for the eyebrow pencil itself but I do love the brush that comes with it as it's ideal for when I'm plucking/trimming my eyebrows and keeping them in shape. I add a spritz of hairspray to the brush to keep those pesky hairs in their place. As for the pencil itself, I'm not impressed and I think I'll be sticking to my powders. This is a Barry M special called Brow Wow in the shade Medium/Dark and you can get it from Superdrug for £3.99.
Last but not least, I'm trying to keep my lipsticks and liquid lipsticks on point by using a sturdy lipliner. I brought two from Rimmel the other day and they work a treat. The Exaggerate Lip Liner in the shade Obsession, does keep breaking off but that may be due to the heat. The Moisture Renew Lip Liner however is a lot more sturdier and is in the shade Universal so it can be teamed with any shade of lipstick colour. Both products are great value at £3.99 each.
Make sure you comment below if you have brought any of the products recently and whether you've seen them before!
