Oyster Skincare - Brightening Eye Serum

Oyster Eye Serum.

Nope it's not Eye Serum made out of oysters. For a moment there though, you definitely though I was applying fish juice under my puffy eyes didn't you? #gotcha
Serum
Oyster is a skincare brand that was conceived by the owners of a smart Hotel and Spa company that wanted to create a range of premium skincare products, exclusive to their guests.

Formulated in British Laboratories and offering the latest global skincare trend; the blending of potent skin-enhancing actives (including hyaluronic acid) with precious mood enhancing essential oils.

We call that "A Therapeutic Kiss".  - Sylvie, Community Manager and Campaign Co-ordinator

They have a range of home spa products, face masks, refining polishes, warming oils, bath soaks and much more. I was sent the Brightening Eye Serum to try out and for someone who suffers from puffiness and dull looking eye bags, this sounded liked a great product.

Costing £20.00 for a 20ml bottle, you only need one pump for each application. The method of applying is quite an unusual one as the instructions read to break the droplet between fingers and inhale the aroma.
Close up of serum
At first I was like -  I ain't doing that - but when I did, I got this gorgeous fruit Mandarin and Grapefruit scent that just smelled divine.

Applying the product was easy, distributing the gel between my two fingers and dabbing it on gently under the eye and on the brow bone. The only snag I have about this product is it's tacky feeling once it's on the skin. It takes a while to seep in and leaves a bit of a sticky residue behind. However, I think applying it in the evening is fine, it's just the morning before applying makeup would be a bit tricky.
Applying serum
I've used this product for a week and there is a slight reduction in the dullness of my under eyes. The formulation is packed full of super-smoothing Hyaluronic Acid, wrinkle-reducing pentapeptides, anti-aging COQ10 (a substance in every body which promotes cell growth), Cafeisilane for puffiness and Niacinamide for dark circles. The antioxidants of Green Tea & Raspberry extracts are what help reduce puffiness and give the skin around your eye area, a bit of a perk up.

I'm also happy to say that Oyster Skincare is giving you a chance to win a bottle of the Brightening Eye Serum yourself so why not give it a go?!

*Disclaimer - I was gifted this product in return for my own honest opinion.
