It’s only a couple of weeks away but I’m incredibly excited by the prospect of seeing all of our friends and family members down in London for our engagement party. We held our intimate engagement dinner with family towards the end of 2017 which my lovely friend Kelly had made a gorgeous cake for. My mum also provided us with the signature photo on cake option, which had both mine and Sam’s beaming faces from the night he proposed to me. Momentous Photo Booths are a company that provide a range of photo booths to capture every moment of a special event.
From compact photo booths to the classic movie style photos that print out a Polaroid snap, Momentous provides the photos without you having to worry about a thing.
Now being the cheeky blogger that I am, Momentous Photo Booths have kindly provided the GIF Booth to use on the evening of our engagement party. It’ll be arriving at the venue around an hour before any of the guests start to arrive and also includes a staff member who looks after the booth for the time that it’s at the venue.
The GIF Booth is met with a confused expression every time I’ve mentioned it to one of my friends. It’s probably one of their latest booths in their collection and it provides endless social media opportunities. That means it’s perfect for a blogger like me and for all my social media savvy friends who use platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
As part of the booth’s capabilities, we can add our very own branding to each photo which we’ve done so in the form of a little Mr & Mrs Griffiths To Be logo which includes the date of the engagement party. I made this myself using a simple logo maker website and I think it will look great at the bottom of photos.
You can also hire extras with the booth too such as a prop box including all the usual party accessory options, custom backgrounds and even a custom skin on the actual booth machine. The cost of these booths varies depending on which one you go for and whether you had any additional items added on. The customer service is great and they respond to your queries very quickly.
One of the major benefits of this booth is that unlike the more traditional ones where the recipient receives the picture, we’ll get an email sent straight to our inbox with the entire album of photos taken. This will be great for us to put into a physical album in which we’re able to look back on in years to come.
I’m extremely excited to feature this booth at our engagement party and I hope that everyone attending will make full use of the GIF booth. I’ll hopefully feature a few snaps from the night in a blog post after the event, so be sure to look out for that!
