Dating is something that thankfully I don’t have to navigate, and I would probably be pretty crap at it, to be honest. However, for those living in the US and in particular, Jacksonville Florida, there are plenty of ways to find love if you know where to find it!

Apps and dating sites were somewhat average when I was single and to be honest, I don’t think there were many dating apps until Tinder came along. So as I missed out on the rise of dating apps, I have to use knowledge of my friend’s experiences on these platforms. The best piece of advice is to use it for the right reasons and not simply to have dead-end chats with others who simply want nudes. Check out all the best apps and sites that are both national and local to you. Jacksonville Personals is a great place to find love and is a good place to start when looking for love.
Get yourself on a couple of platforms or apps and then make sure you fill in your profile properly and add a few photos that are good quality and show just yourself, rather than you with a bunch of people. Otherwise, they may have. a hard time knowing who is you.
Think Outside Of The Bar Scene
When looking for love and dating in Jacksonville, it’s important to think outside of the box when it comes to where to find your future love. That means not just hitting the bar scene and hoping to stumble on someone you like. Instead, try to think outside of nightclubs and bars, opting for other public places that you might find love. It could be community groups for example, or joining a gym or sports team. You may be surprised by who you find!
There are some super romantic places to explore in Jacksonville, Florida that you won’t be lost for inspiration. The Riverside Arts Market can be quite popular for first dates, not to mention Ponte Verde Beach for an evening stroll. There are so many different options than having to go somewhere that’s very alcohol or music heavy. After all, you want to get to know your date, right?
Try Meeting Through Friendships
You likely have friends who have different friendship circles and so if you fancy being partnered up with someone they know, then it’s worth exploring this avenue. As a friend, they’ll probably know what you like and so it’s good to trust their judgment to at least give it a first date try if you can.
Pick A Few Wild Cards
Wild cards are those individuals that you wouldn’t normally go for. It’s worth trusting your gut but also throwing caution to the wind sometimes when picking out guys. You may find you’re surprised, so if you meet someone that initially doesn’t seem like your cup of tea, give them the benefit of the doubt. You never know, it could be the love of your life!
