My wonderful husband is about to become a dad for the second time, well, third if you count our fur child. So this Father’s Day is going to feel extra meaningful, especially as my due date is a few days after Father’s Day itself. Who knows, the new baby may want to make an appearance on the day itself! As part of a collaboration with Very, I wanted to upgrade my husband’s everyday this Father’s Day because frankly, he deserves the world.
He has been the best dad to our little one, and I know he’ll continue to do so for our newborn when he inevitably arrives. Father’s Day is important to celebrate the father figures in your life, whether or not they’re your father or the father of your child. Those who feel like Fathers or take on the duties of a Father deserve to be celebrated, and with Very UK, I can do just that.
This opportunity was well timed because I was able to choose two gifts for Sam that he desperately needs right now. With that being said, here are a few ways you can upgrade his everyday in time for Father’s Day.
Music on the move with Beats Solo 4 Headphones
Sam lost his earphones recently, and that’s happened twice now. So I did say that he wouldn’t be able to get his desired earphones until Christmas because they’re pricey. Instead, though, he can enjoy these cool blue Beats Solo 4 Headphones in the meantime.
As he works in London and travels to London, there’s a lot of commuting time as part of that journey, meaning he finds it useful to watch or listen to something on his phone with headphones. I own Beats Headphones myself, and I will say, they are fantastic. Easy to use, can be folded down to be compact and fit into your bag when on the move, and they look super stylish too.
A stylish work backpack for commuting to work
For those who commute like my husband, a stylish work backpack is a must and is a definite one to add to my list of things to buy for my husband this Christmas. I love the The North Face Unisex Jester Backpack as it’s handy space-wise for two-night stays away from home.
New kicks with Nike Air Max Invigor Trainers
One of the things that Sam has been needing recently is a new pair of trainers. The grip on his current Nikes is non-existent. I got Sam the Nike Air Max Invigor Trainers, which he already says feel super comfortable. They’re stylish, but beyond that, I’m no trainer expert, but the Nike brand is a trusted and reputable one.
There’s a great deal of variety when it comes to Men’s Nike Trainers, and I do love Very UK for having such a great range of brands to choose from, whether it’s affordable, low-cost options or premium picks.
Decadent colognes for swoon-worthy daddies
Sam loves an aftershave/cologne, and he’s got a few favourites that he loves, like Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet Man. He’s also tried the Rabanne 1 Million Homme, too. I’d love to treat him at some point to Jimmy Choo Man Blue and BOSS Bottled Infinite for Him. Both seem to be a popular choice from what I’ve looked at online and through other friends and family members.
Smart Sunnies for the summer sun
We got some Ray-Ban sunglasses whilst we were in Italy last year, but I’d really love to get some of the Ray-Ban Meta Glasses at some point because these look really cool. I think Sam would also suit these Tom Ford Henry Sunglasses, but that purchase might need to wait until next year.
I love celebrating my husband, especially on Father’s Day, and it’s so nice to be able to treat him to some of these gifts. As Father’s Day is right around my due date, we plan on having a fairly relaxed weekend, and as long as I’m feeling good, perhaps a trip to his favourite food place – The Harvester!
What plans do you have for your loved one this Father’s Day? Let me know what you’re up to in the comments below, or what you might like to buy using Very UK.
