A jumpsuit for me is the ultimate comfort piece whilst still managing to be stylish. I think I now own five jumpsuits in total, including this one which is pretty impressive. What I do need though is shoes but hey Christmas is coming up so…
And like most of my wardrobe, I spotted this Rust Pleated Wrap Front Culotte Jumpsuit in my favourite store, New Look. I’m forever going on about the store both online and to my friends that it’s my go-to high street store for pretty much everything. I was actually out buying for my holiday to Morocco at the time but when I spotted this as part of their new range, I had to try it on.
Jumpsuits are so versatile because they come in a variety of styles. From the material to the way they hang off the body (which sounds weirdly creepy btw), I’ve never really found a jumpsuit that I didn’t like. This one, however, isn’t like the others. It’s got sleeves which are, of course, necessary in the colder weather. It cuts off at the ankles to make me look less like a lanky giraffe and the pleated material adds definition, complimenting my shape entirely.
The colour was what swayed me to it in the first place. This deep burgundy colour that makes me feel super festive also went well with my current ombre-toned hair.
It actually comes in several different colours, most of which are now sold out. So this is certainly a piece that’s going to run out of stock soon. At £24.99 it’s a great price for a versatile evening outfit that you could style with a slouchy jumper or shirt.
You may have seen my recent Autumn wishlist with New Look, which on a daily basis I’m having to stop myself from just emptying it all out into my shopping basket and just buying it all.
I wore this on the night that Sam proposed to me so it now has some sentimental value and I’ll forever think of that moment everytime I wear this. That evening I styled it with this beautiful two-toned bag from New Look (go figure) and the heels are from Topshop.
