I’ve learned recently that although I really do prefer summer over winter, it’s the opposite when it comes to clothing. I don’t know whether it’s because I’m more self-conscious of what I’m wearing during the summer or if it’s because during the winter I can layer. But I’m in desperate need of some clothing for the remainder of the summer especially as it’s now just getting warmer.

Shoes
I do love a new pair of shoes but my main problem when shopping for shoes is that they have to be breathable. I tend to suffer from bouts of athlete’s foot, so the more breathable my feet can be, the better. That’s why I love sliders because they do exactly that. Sandals are also ideal and an open toe heel is perfect for getting my tootsies out.
Dresses
Nothing quite beats an off-the-shoulder outfit and I do adore this style when it comes to dresses. I’d like a mixture of casual and evening attire, especially as there’s plenty of social events in my calendar for this month. Literally, have no weekends free currently until September.
Accessories
Since getting my double hoop belt, I’ve realised that I just don’t accessorise my outfits enough and I’m definitely wanting to wear more jewellery from now on. The straw craze that happens with bags and earrings is something I can definitely get on board with. I also am a strong believer in that you can never have too many bags…
Nightwear
It’s now coming the height of summer here in the UK and jeezus it’s hot. Not so much during the day because we have air-con in our offices but because our apartment is a grade II listed building and therefore hella old, it retains the heat. So I think we can all agree that we’re wearing very much next to nothing right now. However, cotton and silk or just underwear are perfect if you need to keep it covered for guests that stay.
Tops & Shirts
When it comes to shirts, the lighter the material and the more it flows, the better. I love patterns when it comes to shirts and anything made out of cotton is a winner. I’ve also come to realise that a sweetheart neckline is something that compliments my shape pretty well.
Bottoms
