I think we can all agree that summer has well and truly come…and gone. As I type this up, the weather isn’t looking as nice as it would be somewhere abroad, maybe the Greek Islands or somewhere in the Maldives. Ok, now I’m just daydreaming about going on a holiday. After living in our apartment for a year, I’ve realised that we needed to replace some of our bedding. Some of the pillows were starting to yellow and that for me is a big no-no. So this is the one thing that I was a little disappointed with only because it wasn’t as white as I thought it would be. From the pictures, it looked like an off-white but it’s actually a very light grey. Once I’d gotten it out of the packaging and onto the bed, I was definitely less disappointed because it contrasts nicely with the mustard yellow throw and the darker grey tones of the bed and headboard. I don’t really know that much about thread count but this is 200 and it feels very fine and luxurious. Easy Comfort Deluxe Hotel Pillows
I’ve learned from my mistakes and decided that when we have pillows, we always need to have pillow protectors on the pillows. I feel like that’s something that everyone has but I’m too lazy to just add another layer of work when I’m re-making the bed. However, I don’t want to lose these Easy Comfort Deluxe Hotel Pillows because babe, these are like big poofy clouds. For £7.99 for two, the thickness of them is insane and it’s so easy for me now to just sink my head into the pillow and fall asleep. Sam found them a bit too big, to begin with, but loves them now.

Talking of pillow protectors, these Home Living Soft Touch Pillow Protectors have come in so handy for ensuring our pillows no longer go yellow. I just hate the thought of sleeping on something that’s riddled with bacteria and that’s years old, so these are hopefully going to make a huge difference to the appearance of our hair and skin, now that we’re sleeping on clean pillows.
