This year, as Sam and I are currently splurging money on our upcoming wedding in 2021, we’re having Valentine’s Day in. Every penny is pretty much going towards the wedding, paying our bills and trying to have some semblance of a social life. So for the first time I think since we started dating, we’re spending it together in our comfy apartment. We’re planning on watching a movie and ordering a takeaway, washing it down with a bit of bubbly. However, for those of you who want to treat your loved one, a family member or friend, I thought I’d put together a gift guide of must-haves for Valentine’s Day.

Look Fantastic Beauty Box
A beauty subscription box is such a versatile gift because you can simply treat them to a one-off box or get a subscription that lasts several months, meaning your gift will be paying off well into the year. The Look Fantastic Beauty Box is a steal for £13 a month and usually contains a selection of products worth over the amount you pay for it. You also get the opportunity to try new products, which might be something the person will love if they’re beauty and skincare obsessed. You can shop the Look Fantastic Beauty Box and know you’re getting six premium products for just £13.
Note Beauty Gift Set
Gift sets are always a safe choice when it comes to beauty products and Note Beauty are no different. The Face To Face Gift Set for £26.85 is a steal for three products that can help give a beautiful glow to the skin. And what’s good about this brand is that they are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, something that any cosmetic company is now expected to be in order to appeal to modern-day beauty buyers. I received a few of their other products too so I’m excited to give these a go, altogether.
Pinkster Gin
For those who are alcohol-lovers, a Pinkster Gin will definitely go down well. Gin is one of my favourite spirits and drinks in general now as I’m try to cut down on high-calorie drinks for my fitness. Pinkster is a pink (obvs), premium gin that’s made out of raspberries. It’s one that I really like and I’m a big fan of the flavored, fruit gins. You can usually buy this in your local supermarket.
Grooming For Men With Trendhim
For those who are after some treats for men, then usually a few grooming products or accessories usually go down well. Trendhim is a great site that has affordable men’s accessories like watches, jewellery, bags and grooming tools. Sam picked out the River Grooming Black Straight Razor with the matching Black Leather Case.
Glasses From SmartBuyGlasses
Need some new glasses, whether that been new frames or a pair of sunglasses? SmartBuyGlasses is an online site that showcases all the very best in designer eyewear from Tom Ford to Ray Ban, Versace to Polo Ralf Lauren. As a glasses wearer, I would love for my next pair of glasses to be a designer. I’m obsessed with these Chloe rounded glasses. What better gift to buy than with some new frames so that they can see you, their loved one, in clear 20/20 vision? Yes that’s super cringe but it’s Valentine’s Day so it’s allowed.
Rituals
If you’re a fan of smoothering yourself in luxurious body butters and shower foams, then you need to try Rituals. I’ve been converted, ever since Sam’s mum got us both into it and now whenever we’re out shopping, we’ll always stock up on extras from handwash to home fragrance sticks. There’s some lovely gift sets that would go down well for the first-timer of trying the brand.
Knitting
Knitting has definitely made me a little obsessed and I’m determined that before I have my first child, I’ll be able to make something that I can either wear on my baby or give as a cuddly toy. LoveCrafts has kindly sent me over their Paintbox Yarns to try out as a little treat to me on Valentine’s Day and what better way to spend it than knitting and giving yourself some much-needed selfcare. Regardless of whether you’re partnered up or not, these free knitting patterns should start you off in the right direction if you’re a newbie to it.
What are you doing for Valentine’s Day? Let me know in the comments below.
