Five Places You Must Go To In Europe

Amid the coronavirus panic at the time of writing this, a few of these places might not seem appropriate to visit right now, or any travel for that matter! However, after experiencing some beautiful places through long weekends and holiday trips, I thought I’d tell you about four places that you must go to in Europe.

Marseille, South Of France

The south of France is always talked about as being a beautiful place in Europe to visit because of the gorgeous towns and it’s popularity for wine lovers to go on many wine tour or wine tasting experience. Marseille has a special place in my heart because my best friend’s parents are from there and we’ve stayed with them multiple times for New Years and over the summer aswell. I love spending time out there and the food is always divine. When it comes to other places in the South of France that I’d like to visit, I’d love to go to Cannes because of it’s film festival that takes place there every year. Other places like Lyon and Bordeaux have definitely picqued by interest too. And if you’re looking of somewhere to stay, then an Airbnb management service might be something you’d look for when shopping for a place to stay. Airbnb’s have become such a popular alternative to staying in hotels and GuestReady is providing more people the opportunity to host their properties to people like us who want to stay in them.

A trip to these wonderful places is not complete without doing a wine tasting experience or two. The wine is also super cheap, so I’d take a big suitcase in order to carry some of it back with you!

Croatia

Located to the west of Italy, Croatia offers a spectacular coastline that boasts pristine beaches and turquoise waters. The country has over 1,000 islands, making it worthwhile to try out Croatia island hopping so that you get to see all that these islands have to offer.

There are some magnificent national parks worth trying to, including terraced lakes and stunning waterfalls. Not to mention the yummy food and hospitality offered by the locals.

Rome, Italy

Rome is one of those places in Europe that I could easily go back to again and again. There are so many beautiful monuments and stunning architecture that are just breath-taking when you see then in real life, especially as you only ever see them usually in a book or online. It never quite does the same justice as seeing it in person. I would love to travel back here because even though we were there for three days, we still didn’t manage to see everything we wanted to. We could have easily stayed for another few days and the food and drink there was also amazing.

Rome Colloseum

Paris, France

The city of love. My partner and I have been to the city twice now and we love it. It’s such a beautiful place that’s just oozing that French vibe everywhere. We’ve experienced gorgeous wine boutiques that have served us that very best that French wine has to offer. I also got to try snails for the first time last year and they were delicious. I always plan a birthday trip away for Sam’s birthday and so when we went to Paris, I took him up the Eiffel Tower for a meal there. Total tourist trap but still beautiful nonetheless.

If you’re ever there yourself and it’s your first time, I would highly recommend Bustronome as it’s a great way to see the city, either by day or night and you get a three-course meal and drinks if you want to be extra luxurious. Totally worth the money and we got to see all of these beautiful places as we were only there for two nights. The bus also stops outside each point so you can take windows and the windows themselves are huge.

Bustronome Dining

Amsterdam, Netherlands

We went to Amsterdam for Sam’s birthday last year and it was such a surreal experience to walk the main areas where they were flooding with marijanna cafes and the famous Red Light District. It was like being in a different world, albeit a little seedy in parts. We didn’t actually end up seeing any sex shows, I just don’t think it would be for me. We took a beautiful pizza cruise though which was lovely along the canals. We did it in the evening so we got a gorgeous view of all the stunning buildings lit up at night.
