Sending Big Hugs with Kindred Fires Candles

This year has been a tough one and we’ve all had our relevant coping mechanisms to get through such a weird and unique time. Going in and out of lockdowns and various restrictions aren’t fun at all and I’ve turned my attention to home comforts, mainly in the form of wax melts and candles. Kindred Fires does a selection of candles that come with personalised messages on the front that you can send to loved ones and I did one for my partner Sam. To be honest, though, it was definitely for me too.

The best thing about a candle is that it immediately relaxes me and gives me that boost of serotonin in my body that I’m needing whenever I’ve had a stressful day or I need a moment to relax. We’ve got no end of candles and wax melts around our apartment and I just love having them lit during the evening and not only just for show but also to make the place smell nice.

I also love personalised gifts because you can get a little cheesy on the messages. These already come with partly made messages but I love the simplicity of just a to and from message as well. I got the Fig & Cassis which just smells divine. You can certainly smell the cassis part more  – and yes  I had to look up what cassis was because I honestly didn’t have a clue.

The burn time is 25 hours which is definitely reasonable, especially as it costs £16.00. I think the personalised element adds to the price of what you’d usually be able to find for less than this. I do love the packaging of this product and will probably end up refilling this pot up when it has burned through.

I think everyone could do with and deserves a little treat like a candle. It’s a simple thing but it’s so effective for many who want that bit of home comfort in their property as and when they need it. Kindred Fires Candles has a whole range of candles suited for all types of occasions, so they can make great stocking fillers for Christmas or as part of a hamper or gift that you give to those during special occasions.
