It’s approaching the time in my life where many of my friends are getting engaged and married. For those who’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you’ll know that I’m engaged and got engaged back in 2017. We were meant to get married this year on the 4th June 2021 but due to COVID-19, we had to push that back to next year. It’s not what either of us wanted but we wanted a longer engagement to be able to do our wedding the way we wanted to do it and with all the people we love and appreciate, around us. With that being said, I’m always one that has no idea what to get for people’s wedding anniversaries, especially with my parents. So with that being said, here are some gift ideas for wedding anniversaries, that might inspire you when you need a gift for a loved one.

Spa Trip
Who doesn’t like the idea of getting a full-body massage and lounging around a heated pool all day? I mean I would love that and I’ve been wanting to go on a spa trip for like forever since this pandemic started. A spa trip for two is a great way for any married couple to switch off from work or from social media in general if they fancy having a proper detox. A spa day or weekend is easy enough to purchase through vouchers on voucher-specific sites or going directly through the spa/hotel itself.
Book A Staycation Tour
A staycation is a great way of taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings we have in this country and let’s be honest, traveling abroad isn’t really going to be back to normal for some time now. If you have parents that are coming up to a big wedding anniversary, it may be worth it to book them a tour of the UK. These are a great opportunity to perhaps see areas of the UK that they’ve never been to before and it’s not going to be as costly as booking them a trip abroad.
For my mum and dad’s recent anniversary, we got them a hotel stay in Manchester, set in a lovely area where they’ll get a 3-course meal as part of the voucher!
A Romantic Meal For Two
Sometimes, married couples may not have the flexibility to just go out for a romantic meal every week or month, especially when they have children. A romantic meal for two might be just the thing that they need in order to relax and unwind. There’s something about having a meal cooked for you and being waited on, that I feel we all need now and again. Cooking for yourself, in my opinion, doesn’t always taste as good as having it cooked for you.
A Pub Crawl For Lovers Of Pints
If your parents or loved ones are more of a drinking type, then a pub crawl might be a good suggestion. It’s worth considering what pub crawls are available in your local area or perhaps further afield. There are businesses that offer these pub crawls alongside hotel stays, etc.
