Looking after yourself is important and it’s why I’ve made a conscious effort over the last few months to up my skincare routine. As well as being more conscious about what I’m putting into my body, I’ve already seen a dramatic difference in my skin, nails and hair. As I’m also getting married this year, getting fit is also on the cards. I was lucky enough to collaborate again with Very UK on their wellness campaign.

*This is a collaborative post.Looking after both the inside and outside of the body is something I want to work more on in 2022. Smothering myself in Elemis products for example is just heavenly. I’ve always wanted to try the brand but weirdly have never gotten around to trying it until now.
Two of the products I love are the Elemis Peptide4 Plumping Pillow Facial. This is a great one for wearing as an overnight mask and it feels luxurious on the skin.
A great one for removing makeup or just the general dirt that builds up on the face is the Elemis Cleansing Balm. It’s a gorgeous semi-thick balm that comes with a gorgeous fluffy cleansing cloth. It’s like giving yourself an at-home spa treatment when you apply the balm, wait a couple of minutes and then remove with warm water.
Spa pedicures have become an addition to my already pampering experience of getting my acrylics. Whatever makes you feel good, you should do more of and getting my nails done is one of them.
Getting the opportunity to do that at home in the form of a foot spa has been an experience that both me and my partner have enjoyed using. There’s nothing like a relaxing foot spa after a hard day’s work. I’m going to get myself some more potions for the foot spa itself so that I can really indulge in my feet – they certainly need it!
The Hair, Skin & Nails gummies from the Vitamin Kitchen are something I’ll need to repurchase. This has made a real improvement to my hair and when I got my acrylics taken off, my nails look surprisingly healthy.
Full of Vitamin C, Zinc and Biotin, these gummies are tasty. You only require one gummy a day, which makes it easy to incorporate into a routine.
Very has a great selection of loungewear, which I loved choosing from. I got a grey matching lounge set but my favourites are these Calvin Klein

When it comes to looking after yourself, the benefits you get from it will help you feel good inside and out. I love self-care and looking after my skin and body in general. It makes me feel so much better about myself and I think we often neglect our own health and wellbeing for others.
For me, that neglect isn’t healthy and it results in you not being able to give your loved ones your best self.
