Gift Giving with Flexidesk | Working from Home Office Desks

It’s crazy how long this pandemic has been going on and that life before seems so far away now. A new normality is here and that means for a lot of us, working from home is a regular occurrence. A lot of businesses have shown that some, if not all employees can work from home effectively and still get the work done. As a result, it’s meant many people have set up a more efficient home office, whilst others have struggled to get any type of setup beyond their living room space. During the pandemic, my brother and my sister-in-law were working from home and my poor brother was making do with a pillow and side desk set up from the floor.  So with the help of Flexidesk, we managed to change that!

Introducing a desk that now I’m jealous of when it comes to comparing it to my poxy, wooden, non-adjustable office desk. I visited my brother and his family during the Christmas holidays where he’d got the Flexidesk setup and already in use.

It’s an impressive desk that has really helped my brother level up his work from home. The E8 Standing Desk offers the user the capability of sitting or standing to work throughout the day. It’s been proven to be healthier to stand whilst working, rather than to be seated all day. If our spines are hunched over a computer screen for 7+ hours a day, you can only imagine what that does for posture and quality of health. The Flexispot E8 allows the user to adjust the height of the desk from sitting to standing through it’s user-friendly control panel.

With four programmable presets, the user can also choose four height options that they might be more prone to using, rather than having to manually adjust it every time. One of the best features that comes with the desk is it’s child lock. For my brother, having young kids that will be running about, will benefit from this feature as it adjusts to avoid nasty bumps on the head!Flexidesk control panel

The desk also features a cable management panel underneath the desk so that cables can be sorted in an organised fashion, avoiding any dangers completely. With the option of height adjustment, if needed, more storage can be added under the desk very easily.

I was impressed at just how compact the desk is, despite its surface space available. The Flexidesk certainly makes use of the space it has and in smaller apartments or homes, this would be the perfect option for most. At £399.99 reduced from £419.99, it’s a great investment for any workers who find themselves working from home. As remote working and WFH continue, it’s important to take care of your physical health and it’s worth seeing what you can get from the company you work for, in terms of benefits to purchase your own Flexidesk.

It’s definitely a great addition to any home office and my brother has certainly made good use out of the desk since working from home.

What do you think of the Flexidesk E8? Would you consider investing in a hybrid work desk that provides standing work? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to check out the full range that Flexispot offers on the site here.
