To make your space cosy, a gorgeous throw to snuggle up with on a cold winter’s night is essential. Choose a throw that will complement your colour scheme, and will look just as good layered on your sofa, as it feels to be wrapped up in.
Flooring
If your chosen flooring for your contemporary scheme is either floorboards or tiles, then the chances are that this won’t look or feel very warm and cosy. Introduce a rug to the mix for added texture and a lovely soft surface to walk on. There are some beautiful rugs out there, so you will easily be able to find one that matches both your look and your budget.
Including a rug will add a stylish dose of texture, and will enable you to have the best of both worlds; the contemporary feel of a hard floor, with the comfort of a rug underfoot.
