Picking Lighting For A Baby’s Nursery | Lights4Fun

Sonny’s nursery has been a work in progress, that’s for sure. When he eventually got into the room, it was only partly finished. The reason for this was that we were planning to move out of London and, therefore, had to reset the room to what it once was, a guest bedroom, for our future tenants.

We then moved in with Sam’s parents for six months so he could have Sam’s old room. We eventually got into our own property in my hometown of Stoke, back in April. So now, we’ve got full reign on Sonny’s room, which I’d say is still halfway to completion. It’s got a light, blinds, and now there’s a bookshelf on the wall, and his lights from Lights4Fun.

I got these ages ago as a collaboration, but never really showed them off like they should have been. So let me show you the two gorgeous lights that I got from Lights4Fun to help decorate Sonny’s new room.

 Hello Sunshine Lights4Fun Neon Light

While he reacts a little differently to how he used to as a baby, I used to sing ‘You are my sunshine’ to Sonny pretty much every day while I was pregnant. I’d play it on my phone so he could listen to it too while he was in my belly. So it only felt right that I had to pick up this neon sign up which says ‘hello sunshine’.

It’s a personal nod towards that moment in time that now feels so long ago, and a reminder to make sure our home is filled with personality and not something that feels like a home decor trend that has no relation or personality link to me or the rest of the household.

As well as this light, I also got a light that sits up on Sonny’s windowsill. We’ve got some chunky windowsills in our new home, which I love and therefore fit perfectly within the space.

Oh Baby Lights4Fun Neon Light

This ‘Oh Baby’ neon light has become a bit of a night light when I’m winding down with my little one, reading a book on the nursing chair. It’s just enough light that it helps for reading, but not too much that it wakes up Sonny from feeling sleepy.

I absolutely love these lights, and I think they add a bit of extra light to the space where it’s needed. I think Lights4Fun offers some really great lighting options at an affordable price. The amount of cool autumn and Halloween lights they have currently makes me want to go bankrupt, so I have to hold back.

What do you think of these lights from Lights4Fun? Let me know in the comments below what you’d pick from their site.
