When Paris meets London, introducing probably the most stylish-looking shoes inspired by Parisian fashion.
I had the pleasure of chatting to the lovely Radhia at the Sixpence Bridal Fair, I covered the event here. Her mum had also come along for the event. She reminded me a lot of my mum, always supportive! The shoes on her display really stood out for their elegance and bold colours. Speaking to Radhia, who moved to London after meeting her partner in 2010, she divides her time between Paris and London. She goes back to Paris to be inspired by literally watching the fashionistas of Paris walking past her in the street.
Her designs are sophisticated, suitable for both casual and evening use. They range from simple colours and patterns to bold and bright which she says is inspired by London’s fashion and personality. I think the industry is constantly changing and I know that I would prefer shoes that had a unique quality to them, which I think House of Spring definitely provides. By far, my favourite of all the shoes on display at the event were the Azur sandles shown below. I could definitely see myself wearing these during the Summer as they have that typical sandle design but with a classy. These were be perfect for a warm summer’s night out on the streets of London!
This design comes in three different colours and I love both the black and nude styles that were at the Bridal show. If only I was in a better paid job! One can only dream of owning a pair like this one day…
Radhia tells me that her shoes are never plain. There’s always something unique to them, inspired by either one or both of the cities. These certainly include the loafers, each with their own quirky design.
The prices are affordable and range from around £135-£185. You can expect to find these shoes also on ASOS in the near future which is a great step for any business! She also is taking part in the Spirit Of The Summer Fair in June so make sure you head on over to London Olympia to catch her there.
