Retro Leggings Review

Retro leggings. We all need a pair right? It’s coming up to Summer and what better way to show off your outgoing personality than with a pair of hippy leggings!

Left to right – Front, Side & Behind

Aidoo is just one of many brands on Amazon that sells it’s own range of clothing, from trousers to dresses and even rucksacks. The leggings arrived in a simple white packaging and my first thoughts were on the material used for these leggings. Made from polyester and the fabric Broadcloth, it feels quite like a swimming costume but it actually fits quite nicely. I ordered mine in a size M which is perfect if you are a size 10-12. The range offers sizes from S-XXL which is perfect for those who struggle to find larger sizes in most high street stores.

The price of the leggings are £12.99 which for an online brand is quite reasonable. The leggings are comfortable and would definitely suit a hot summer’s day or even to wear as pyjamas. I love the intricate design and it’s choice of colours. The design around the back is definitely my favourite part and it’s simple enough to go with a plain black, white or even a red top (to match the bottom of the leggings). I love the tight fitting at the top and then the subtle flare at the bottom.

The only two things I don’t like are the waistband and the material. The waistband is a little too tight for my stomach. I’ve read that a few people have brought this up and it must be a reoccurring thing along the whole size range. The material for me is something that I wouldn’t really pair with a typical legging material. However, I believe this is just my personal preference so others may like this choice of fabric. After wearing the leggings for a while, it did feel slightly uncomfortable, but perhaps wearing it more around the hips would make this feel better.

Unfortunately these are no longer available to buy but I’m pretty sure you can find some similar on Amazon!
