I thought I’d try (and I mean try) to attempt a weekly round up of the previous week’s highs and lows. I think it’s important to both celebrate the highs but to also acknowledge the lows that we all experience on a daily basis. Whether I keep this up is another matter but hey, let’s give it a try!
So after five years, myself and Sam have finally been abroad for our first trip together. Yeah I know right, crazy?! We went to Rome last week for a couple of days, so expect to see all the Rome photos and inspired content for the next few weeks on UpYourVlog.
There’s nothing better than being rewarded for something you’ve worked really hard on. For now over a year, I’ve been working my bum off to get my blog off the ground. There’s still a long way to go and there’s definitely always room for improvement but I’ve started earning quite a bit from my writing both on UpYourVlog and off it. #makeitrain
So I never really fully appreciated a bank holiday before because of the promotional work I did. This involved me working various shifts and a lot of it tended to cover bank holidays too. To now be in a full-time job where bank holidays are involved – I mean, it’s the bees knees.
What Is A Gym?
So I’ve been really crap lately. I haven’t been going regularly to the gym for the past month and a bit and it’s definitely noticeable. This week I’m planning on hitting the gym from now on, 3 times a week with ab workouts during the days in between.
Post Holiday Blues
The post holiday blues have set in and it’s created an itch for me to jet away more often. Me and Sam have both decided that we need to see more of the world so I’m hoping that another last minute getaway might be on the cards soon.
I have sort of lost my love of reading lately and I think it’s to do with Netflix binges taking over my free time. I’ve decided that I’m going to try and jump back on the book wagon by picking out three books to read this month. Fingers crossed it works!
What have been some of your highs and lows this week?! Let me know in the comments below.
