Getting up at 6.15am isn’t something I’d actively suggest you do. But when I saw these photos for the first time today, I think I’m going to do more of my shoots in the mornings. NICCE sent me over one of their hoodies to review and having scoured their website and being ruthless with the baggier numbers, I opted for a fitted, slightly cropped number.
I hadn’t heard of NICCE before they introduced themselves but now I have seen their clothes literally everywhere. Whether it’s walking down the high street or spotting their brand on reality TV, I suddenly feel like part of the elite. When it comes to women’s black hoodies, I often go for those that drown me in fabric. I love baggy and over-sized clothes, especially when I was at my heaviest.
I’ve talked about my weight before on my blog and I think I’m finally on track to getting my fitness routine back up and running. I need to make time for my body and balance my time spent on my blog carefully so that I can implement the fitness back into my lifestyle. So when I found myself looking at the over-sized options I stopped myself. I thought, ‘Natalie, you need to get something fitted so you can appreciate and love your body‘ because if I continued buying clothing that was too big for me, I’d never get myself out of this body confidence rut I’m in.
This NICCE Illusion Zip Sweater in White is the perfect fit for the slightly cooler months when I’m heading off to the gym in the mornings. At £45.00, I could tell that there was a lot of quality in the material and it feels so comfortable to wear. I love the black and white ribbed collars, waistband and cuffs, it shapes and figure hugs my body in the right places.
The sweater does come with matching, race striped joggers but this hoodie works really well with a pair of jeans, leggings or cycling shorts. It’s a little too hot at the moment to wear the sweater but I can see myself wearing it religiously once Autumn comes back around. NICCE’s range is stylish and is what sportswear should look like. I think the affordability of the clothing is fantastic for the variety and quality you get and I might just get myself one of the backpacks as a gym bag.
If I could wear sportswear fashion every day, I really would. I’m the type of person who would wear fitness wear to the shops to give off the illusion that I’ve just been to the gym. I like how sportswear is now being incorporated to high-street fashion and is appealing to the masses (including me) who like wearing sporty stuff.
I still do have a way to go before I reach the desired fitness level I’d like to be at. I still want to lose about a stone in weight because for me, I want to feel lighter and healthier because it’s made me unhappy and life is too short to be worrying about the small stuff, you know?
