As if the boy doesn’t have enough watches already, Sam’s got another one now to add to his attractive collection. It reminded me that I need to buy him a watch box for his birthday so that I can finally get rid of the gazillion watch boxes that are currently lying all over the apartment. ADEXE Watches are a brand I’ve collaborated with before and I’ve been wearing mine pretty much every day…because it’s the only watch I own btw.
I’m kind of obsessed with these watches and how beautifully designed they are. Sam’s got lots of brown watches with cream or white clock faces so I wanted to get him something a little different this time around. The THEY Grande Blue & Rosegold watch was designed for non-gender specifics, which means it can be worn by anyone. As an adult, I’ve realised that a lot of my influences growing up as a female have been dictated through colour or tradition. So it’s nice to see a big brand like this one, knocking down those gender stereotypes.
The watch came with a brown strap but also a black one, which is great because it essentially looks like two different watches for the price of one. BARGAIN!
We headed over to Richmond for the day to take these snaps. For the first time in a while, I was the one behind the camera while Sam played model. I think he’s a natural, don’t you think? I prefer taking the photos when it comes to my blog as I feel like I have an eye for finding the right angle and lighting. I find there’s pressure being in front of the camera and sometimes I just don’t feel like posing.
I love the size of the watch face, I’m all for the big ones because I think they stand out from the outfit, making it more of a statement piece. I’m also living for rose gold, as you probably know, so even if Sam doesn’t appreciate it, I do.
Sam absolutely loves the watch and I think this will be one of his favourites to wear this year. For £129 it’s a little pricier but not as expensive as most other designer watches. I think also you’re getting more for your money with the extra strap, giving you the option of two watches in one. I think ADEXE really has it when it comes to luxurious designs at affordable prices. I mean what more could you ask for?
