I’m really looking forward to transforming our spare room into an office space for me that I can use to run my empire and take over the world. Well maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but I’m so excited to get a proper office desk, comfy chair and the stunning desktop PC that is the iMac.

Companies like Signature Works are changing the way businesses operate. The traditional office is being phased out with more flexible workspaces that give start-ups the chance to successfully run a business and freelancers a professional environment to work in and meet clients.
I already know what I’d like for my office space and it kind of fits in with the whole rustic feel that I have in other aspects of our apartment. I discovered Maisons Du Monde a while back but I still haven’t brought anything from them, despite me loving literally everything they have on sale. I think deep down, I know I’d spend a lot of money with them if I let myself go.
I’m stuck between two options for the computer desk. Originally I was all for the Sold Fir and Metal Industrial Desk. I think it’s gorgeous and it has that extra side part for storage. But recently I saw the Mango Wood Vintage desk and now I’m stumped. They are both equally beautiful but I need to make a decision. Can I have both?
Solid Fir and Metal Industrial Desk in Whitewash Finish (£270.50) | iMac (£949.00) | Mango Wood Vintage Desk (£574.00) | X-Rocker Executive Height Adjustable Office Chair (£139.99) | Dania Letter Tray Oak (£115.00)
I want to invest in a nice, plush computer chair. I’m all about comfort so I’m not that fussed by what it looks like but I think this one I picked out from Argos is probably going to be the one I go for. Storage is also essential as our apartment isn’t huge, so therefore having some desk storage for papers and invoices would be great. And of course, we can’t forget the star of the show, the iMac.
My MacBook Pro has certainly seen me well for the past five years but I’ve wanted a desktop mac ever since my blog took off. I think it’s a great Christmas treat from me to me before I’m living off beans on toast due to the fact I’ll have a small expenditure of a wedding to save for. Money, it was nice knowing ya.
Look out for my office space that’ll be featured on my blog at some point in the new year, as well as other furniture I got for our home.
