Tis the season for weddings and I am in need of a few new pieces for my wardrobe. I love a wedding and it’s a great excuse to spoil yourself on a new outfit. Quiz UK is a brand I love as I find their clothes always fit my body shape, especially as I struggle with the chest area. So I thought I’d pick out a few outfits to inspire your wedding guest attire for this season.
Pastel Realness
Pastel colours are very much on trend at the moment and they can be a subtle shade that compliments a skin tone and lets the shape and embellishments on the dress, do the talking. I love pinks and blues, so I chose a few that I think would suit my shape and colouring.
From left to right – Lilac Bardot Lace Maxi Dress (£69.99) | Light Blue Wrap Bardot Maxi Dress (£49.99) | Blush Pink Glitter Wrap Sleeveless Maxi Dress (£64.99)
I’m always so impressed by the price of Quiz, considering the quality of their clothing is always spot on in my experience. That blush pink wrap maxi dress has a gorgeous glitter effect to add the wow factor to an otherwise quite simple dress. I love the cut of the blue wrap Bardot dress and the detailing and shape of the purple one is stunning.
Flower Power
I love florals when it comes to dresses. I tend to gravitate towards them more because, for me, they’re fun and eye-catching. They also resemble the gorgeous weather we tend to get during spring and summer.
From left to right – Blue And Pink Floral One Shoulder Maxi Dress (£44.99) | Grey Embroidered Bardot Dip Hem Dress (£79.99) | Aqua and Pink Floral Cold Shoulder Maxi Dress (£34.99)
Blues and pinks go really well together, especially in floral prints and I love the light shape of the aqua blue and pink maxi dress. The cold shoulders are something I love but the slight sleeve covers the arms. The one-shoulder style seems to be in at the moment and I love the silver/grey embroidered dress with the dip hem.
Glamour Puss
When I think glamorous, I’m thinking of sequins and bold colours. I love red and I’m a big fan of anything sequinned, so these three picks below are just what I’m after.
From left to right – Rose Gold Sequin Cross Back Maxi Dress (£99.99) | Red Cold Shoulder Frill Maxi Dress (£54.99) | Black Sequin Bandeau Split Maxi Dress (£69.99)
I think the only thing I’d struggle with is the strapless black sequinned dress. For someone with a bigger bust, I need the support otherwise I’d be fearful of it falling down. The rose gold sequin dress is just exquisite and I love an exposed back. Red is my favourite colour, so it comes as no surprise that I’d feature a red number in my picks.
