The Apps I Must Have On My Phone

– SPONSORED CONTENT –

I think we all have apps on our phone that we rely on a lot more than others, some on a daily basis. I certainly have my favourites that I love using and as a run a blog, some of these are crucial for me to have access to when I’m out and about. So what are the apps I must have on my phone?

iPhone 8 Plus

Google Docs & Google Sheets

As I’ve been freelance writing, Google Docs has been a life saver for when I’m on the daily commute to and from work. The beauty of these docs is that you can continue to work offline e.g when I’m underground and have no signal. It then updates as soon as I’m above ground. This gives me the opportunity to utilise my free time that I have on my commute, to use it towards something more productive.

Google sheets has also come in useful for keeping track of my income for my blog. With a few code inputs on excel, I can easily tally up my monthly earnings which shows if I’m on target and where I need to improve.

Where would I be without my daily dose of social media stalking. I think social media in general is a little unhealthy because we can end up obsessing over lifestyles of others and they are frankly nowhere near to real life. However, I think digesting the right amount and with a pinch of salt is the best way to enjoy these platforms. I use Instagram, Facebook and Twitter on a daily basis. My most used one out of the three though is definitely Instagram. I love Instagram stories and not just for celebrities but for seeing what my friends are up to.

Online Banking

Online banking can be a little risky to use while out and about, especially for WIFI hotspots. That’s why it’s important you make use of a VPN to protect and encrypt your data. However, having my online banking app has changed my life and it probably has for many others. I can’t actually imagine my life without it because it’s saved me in so many situations where I’ve needed to transfer money asap. The future of banking is definitely online.

Netflix

I’ve been watching back to back episodes of The Great British Bakeoff but I’m also watching them from the most recent (of the Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood era) to the very first seasons. So it’s hilarious watching them age backwards. Netflix has become a power house for television and film and with the latest feature of downloading episodes, it’s a great app to use on your phone.

StoryArt

One that I’ve been using more recently and that’s beneficial for me is StoryArt. With this, it helps me edit photos and frame them beautifully for my Instagram posts and stories. There’s so many variations of these apps but this is the first where I’ve actually used it on more than just the one occasion.

What apps do you use the most on your phone? Let me know in the comments below.
