The Importance Of Breakfast | with Nutribuddy

One thing that I’m really looking forward to about the winter is that no one asks you to go out. We all live like hermits (well I do) and for me, that’s going to be very much needed for when I go freelance this month. Nutribuddy is a company that I’ve worked with before and my last experience of using their products was very beneficial in my weight loss journey at the time.

Nutribuddy Breakfast ShakeThis post contains gifted content.

As someone who hasn’t had breakfast in the weekday mornings for well over two years now, I realise that I’m probably doing harm to my body by not having the fuel that’s needed in the mornings. I got sent Nutribuddy’s Breakfast Shake to try out for fourteen days and it was perfect for me to use alongside working out as I could tell that my energy levels were depleting by the evening.

How It Tastes?

There’s a mixture of flavours that you can try and so the breakfast shake can be personable to you and your preference. I got the Vanilla flavour with Crunchy Flaxseeds & Coconut Flakes.  I like my shakes to be more on the crunchy side than it being smooth. I was also very kindly given the breakfast shake jar which is beautiful and the shaker bottle. What I love about the taste is that it doesn’t taste of any chemicals or just that weird taste you get from other supplements. It’s chemical-free and is made out of gluten-free oats, which in this day and age, is expected to ensure food companies aren’t limiting their customer base. The oats do tend to settle at the bottom of the bottle but a quick shake and this disperses the oats to ensure every last bit comes out of the bottle. Breakfast ShakeThe breakfast shake is a meal replacement shake and I found that just like the meal replacement sculpting shake that I tried last time, it certainly didn’t feel like I was skipping meals or denying my body the relevant nutrients I needed. Normally for breakfast on the weekend, I’d have a bacon sandwich or corn flakes, whereas now with the breakfast shake, it’s a much more healthier alternative.

I had the breakfast shake with semi-skimmed milk but the formula also can be paired up with other milk-alternatives like almond milk or soya milk. I have some leftover, so I definitely want to give it a try with almond milk as I think this will add a bit more flavour to it.

How Did It Make Me Feel?

The shake definitely filled me up. The oats are always quite filling whenever I’ve had them before, whether that’s a porridge or in the form of a snack bar. I definitely felt like I had a lot more energy to give and that is so handy for me when it comes to my workouts. Working two jobs effectively can take its toll and then to expect my body to exercise on top, is tough. This shake helped me combat my fatigue and tiredness that I had at the start of the day.

Overall I definitely loved the shake and it reminded me how much I love Nutribuddy as a brand. Certainly getting myself another order of the shake once I’m all out. Have you tried Nutribuddy before? Let me know in the comments below.
