I feel like I’ve made a gazillion of these in the past year but I wanted to go into 2020 with my interior wishlist actually fufilled this year. I feel like it’s going to be tough because we have so much we’re saving for (including the small event that is our WEDDING), but I’m determined to finish the furnishing of our home. Here are some of my top picks for an interior wishlist.
The Living Room
I say living room but what I actually mean is the living room/dining room/kitchen because they’re all connected in one space. There are several bits I’d like to get to finish off this room as a whole. Our kitchen space lacks storage so I’m wanting to get a drinks trolley so that we can shift out all of our glasswear which would effectively free up two cupboards. The actual one I want to get is this Vintage Gold Drinks Trolley. I also wanted to get a side cabinet for storage to sit opposite our kitchen area. I’m also after some cream, fluffy throws to sit on the edge of my corner sofa and over the top of the cushions that sit against the frame of the sofa.
When it comes to decor in the apartment, I love the gold and wood combination so I’d like to finish off my dining room table with some gold candle holders. I’d also like to get some floating shelves for the walls and a side table that’ll match the coffee table.
The Bedroom
The bedroom is another area that is nearing it’s completion and one thing i’d like to get in there is a smaller TV to go up on the wall. It’s actually a good enough space to fit it and there’s nothing like watching television in bed. The other things I’d still like to get is a mirror for my vanity table. There are some gorgeous ones from William Wood and I’ve got my eye on a few to choose from. I need some plastic storage trays for my vanity table to keep everything organised and some art work to go above the bed.
I also want to get some new bedding in a light grey or white, like this set from Happy Beds. This set is organic and made from sustainably grown bamboo which is great to encourage plastic-free living. I also really want to get some bigger cushions so I can style out my bed more. I got some gorgeous waffle bedding in white and everytime I get in, it feels like I’m in a hotel bed.
The Hallway & Spare Room
And lastly, I want to get a few extras for the hallway and spare room. I’d love a floating shelf to go below one of my frames that’s up in the hallway and a runner. I want to get rid of the wooden shoe holders and replace them by installing some shelving in the storage cupboard we have that’s located in the hallway and next to our bathroom.
