Add Luxury to Your Home Life with a Hot Tub!

It seems like we’re destined to be spending much more time in our homes this year, so it’s more important than ever that your abode feels like a castle! Many of us have spent the last few weeks spring cleaning our interiors, but as spring turns into summer, those of us fortunate enough to have outdoor spaces will need to care for them just as much. If you’re disappointed about not being able to go on that big trip this summer, why not add a little luxury to your home life with a hot tub!

The Ultimate Summer Treat

While the Great British Summer isn’t the most reliable, when it arrives, we do love to make the most of it! While barbecues and laying on the grass are staples of British Summertime, there’s not much that tops making a splash with your very own hot tub. From cooling off in the day to watching the sunset with a cool drink, spas and hot tubs are the ultimate in outdoor relaxation. A great social piece for your household, having a hot tub can really add a silver lining to your time spent with loved ones!

Incredibly Versatile

However, there’s much more to owning a spa or hot tub than it merely being a showpiece or social event. Hot tubs are a great way to unwind by yourself, which can prove hugely beneficial after a long day at work. Relax with a book or your favourite podcast for a truly luxurious Sunday at home. Hot tub jets also come with massage capabilities, which can help with things such as blood flow. Special water treatments can also contribute to general wellness, so why not make a bit of time in the hot tub part of your nightly routine? Hot tubs are not just a summer staple, either. As the name suggests, they can also provide incredible warmth and luxury during the winter months! If you ever feel like you’re not able to make enough of your garden in the winter months, a hot tub can be a great way to unlock your space’s potential.

Hot Tubs Are Easier Than Ever

There are many reasons why people may be put off purchasing a hot tub, including expense, installation and maintenance. Thankfully, hot tubs have come a long way, and the wide range of models available nowadays means that hot tubs are easier to own than ever before! Hot tubs are roughly divided into two categories, hard shell or soft tubs. Hard shell hot tubs are the classic version, built with plastic or similar materials. Often, this version will come with a range of built-in features and, as a result, will cost more. Soft shell tubs can sometimes be inflatable or made of soft material and will usually be basic in regards to their features. However, that often makes these versions much more affordable, while modern versions are also durable enough for many years of use.

Installing and Maintaining Your Hot Tub

In terms of how to install your hot tub, guidance can vary, and you should always seek professional advice. However, the most basic models often only need access to a standard plug socket, making their installation much more straightforward than many realise! There’s also no need for a permanent water source. In terms of keeping your hot tub looking great year-round, you’ll need the right chemicals. Thankfully, this process is relatively simple once you have the correct swimming pool chlorine tablets and pH and alkaline adjusters. Again, simply speak to a supplier, and they will happily guide you through the process so you can enjoy the luxuries of your very own hot tub!

If our summer is going to be more low-key than usual this year, then why not make the most of what we have? A hot tub can work in most outdoor spaces, adding a special touch to a home. It’s the perfect treat for homebound families!
