How To Workout Safely During 2021 In A Covid World

I never thought I’d be saying this but 2020 Natalie has been the fittest version to date. And I have to say, I love how I feel in my body, not because of the way I look but more so to do with the way I feel. I feel less sluggish and I feel more confident in myself than ever before. For me, body positivity is more in the mind than it is in the physicality. Working out in 2021 is certainly still going to be a challenge seeing as Covid isn’t going to magically disappear come January 1st. So how can you safely workout during 2021 in a Covid world?

Horse Riding

Interestingly, my brother has just completed his own training to work in the horse-riding industry and it’s one of the few sports that have little contact with others. If you have the accessibility to a nearby horse training ground or a horse of your own, then this can definitely be a good sports activity to do. Owning a horse and housing it in one of these valestables.com is just like owning any animal and it can become a part of your family. The amount of physical work it takes to look after a horse can also help with your fitness too.

 

Zoom PT Sessions

The last time we set foot in a gym, it was a few days before going into our first lockdown back in March. It seems a lifetime ago but at the same time, only yesterday. Despite this, we’ve kept up our PT sessions because we always had the objective to do the PT sessions until at least we got married. That might change afterward as I think a baby will likely come soon after! However, we’ve really enjoyed the Zoom PT sessions, even during the summer where the heat was unbearable at times. If you’re not someone who enjoys going to the gym, you definitely might find a benefit in getting a PT and doing it from the comfort of your own home. We also managed to get all of our workout gear on Amazon.

 

Cycling

For outdoor sports, if you have a bike available then cycling can be one of those things to enjoy on your own or socially-distanced with a friend. With cycling, it’s the ultimate freedom where you can enjoy the world at a fast pace or at a leisurely one. If you’re based in the city, then there are plenty of bicycle points where you can hire a bike and cycle around the city.

 

Do A Socially-Distanced Run With Friends

Even though it’s something I despise with a passion, running is a great form of exercise and one you can do alone or with friends and family. If you’re living with others, why not opt for a morning or evening run? Or. just a walk. It’s a good way of getting some fresh air.
