Ever wanted to get paid for games you play? Well, we now live in a world where that’s possible. Ever since the internet and gaming, in general, became more than just a pastime you enjoyed in the comfort of your bedroom, many gamers have been able to profit from doing something they love. Just look at the growing trend of streamers who make use of social media platforms to play games and get paid for streaming their gameplay to the world and anyone who’ll watch.
A new platform on the block called Skedadle, is now offering anyone the opportunity to earn money when playing games. It’s an easy enough platform to understand and to get to grips with. Simply download it from either the Apple or Android store, sign up, and start earning money. There are a number of games available, although limited, however, it was enough to get me started on navigating the platform and seeing how easy it can be to earn money.

I started off with Stackit and I’m not going to lie, failed miserably. My next few attempts were much better and I think as I explore the platform more, I’ll find a favourite soon enough. I also tried out 4096 which is a game where you slide numbers to match and the aim is to reach 4096.
The games themselves are simple enough to understand, which makes it a great platform for any age. Whether you’re a morning commuter on the way to work or you’re a retired individual living the dream at your holiday home in Devon. It’s a platform that everyone can take advantage of and the way you earn money is simply by playing the games.
Before you start playing, you’ll need to verify your email so that you can withdraw your funds. It’s worth noting that in order to withdraw your funds, you’ll need to earn at least £5 before you can take it out. However, after just five minutes of playing, I’d earn £0.31p so I wouldn’t think it would take you long to accrue £5.
When you’re ready to start playing, you’ll be greeted by a dashboard that showcases your wallet, the games available to play, as well as the leaderboard to see where you are fair in terms of other game players. They also have a number of offers such as inviting your friends to the platform.

Every game you start playing will give you a brief rundown of how to play the game, so make sure you read this and understand it before playing. You’ll then go straight into the game where you’ll see that adverts appear behind the game itself. While I initially thought this was going to be distracting, it’s actually quite the opposite. You’re so focused on the game itself that you forget that the background is ever-changing with the adverts.
It’s a subtle way of showing adverts without needing to interrupt your gameplay like some other mobile phone games tend to do. It’s exciting to see your wallet grow with funds and it’s instantaneous. As soon as the game ends, you get money into the wallet. Despite effectively ‘losing’ in the game, you’re getting a reward so it makes losing, a positive experience.
As a new app, it’s pretty basic but it’s got a lot of room and potential for growth. Who doesn’t like the idea of being able to earn money for something that they’d probably do every day? Especially if you get hooked on a game that you really love, it might be something that you could earn quite a substantial amount of money on.
Skedadle is a gaming platform that can bring communities together and if you’re referring your friends, you can challenge their own efforts by beating them on the leaderboards. You can download the app easily, so check out the Skedaddle app on both Android and Apple below:
Don’t forget to use my code 800WP when you’re asked for a referral code! Let me know what you think about the platform below in the comments. Why not try a gaming platform that lets you earn money for the time you’ve invested playing on it? Sounds like the ideal dream, whether you’re looking to do it eventually full-time or you’re just wanting to earn a bit of extra cash for now.
