Jules B has won the Drapers Magazine coveted title of ‘Best Independent Fashion Store’ an impressive four times.’
Pretty impressive huh?!
So Jules B has given me the opportunity for the chance to win £200 worth of vouchers to spend on their website. If I were to win, I can promise you now that I’ll be giving away an item for free to one of my lucky readers. So keep your fingers AND your toes crossed for me.
The objective of the competition is to come up with a moodboard/lookbook using inspiration from the clothing on Jules B itself. Now as my holiday is fast approaching, I thought I’d treat you guys to my choice of clothing for the holiday from Jules B.
For casual day wear, I chose a number of items from the SS ’16 Collection and the general collection.
I chose a selection of casual tops that are all light in colours and patterns and seem to be made of a very breathable material, especially in the hot climate I’ll be in. From left to right is High Lively Embroidered Shirt(£254.99), Backstage Briska Tunic Dress(£109.99), Star Mela Mayra Embroidered Tunic Dress (£114.99), Alice & Olivia Grant Off Shoulder Top (£224.99), Rundholz Stripe Alphabet T-Shirt(£114.99) and Paul by Paul Smith Green Graphic Print Vest Top(£124.99). My favourite has to be the Alice and Oliver Grant Off Shoulder Top as it reminds me of the clothing they wore in the film Grease, which is like my childhood favourite film!
I also picked a selection of bottoms to go with my casual wear and these include a selection of more floral patterns and colours that would pair well with plain t-shirts and tops. From left to right High In Limbo Cotton Shorts (£244.99), Alice & Olivia Dianna Skirt (£434.99), Alice & Olivia Savanna Maxi Skirt (£424.99), High Havoc Combat Trousers (£194.99), Alexander McQueen Contour Skirt (£254.99) and Isabel Marant Etoile Naomi Shorts(£104.99). I absoutely love the floral print maxi skirt aswell as the combat trousers that will add a little more class to the casual outfit.
And onto the evening glam, all of these are dresses specifically and there was just so much choice on the website that I could have shown more than just the select few below.
I’m so happy with how these mood boards turned out and if you’re interested in making your own then click here. From left to right Self Portrait Wrapped Off Shoulder Dress (£244.99), High Longing Floral Dress (£425.99), Velvet by Graham and Spencer Lulia Lace Dress (£235.99), Self Portrait Azaelea Dress (£244.99), Armani Jeans Striped Dress (£151.99) and Alice & Olivia Juelia Cut Out Midi Dress (£384.99). The baby yellow of the Azaelea Dress is simply gorgeous and would definitely compliment bronzed skin!
And finally onto the accessories of which I’ve just picked a handful. Michael Kors is one of my favourite brand for bags, so one can only dream of owning it!
From left to right, Rebecca Minkoff Julian Fringe Backpack (£279.99), Le Specs Half Moon Magic Sunglasses (£34.99), Michael Kors Jet Set Travel Tote Bag (£227.99), Armani Jeans Mirrored Crossbody Shoulder Bag (£123.99) and Bailey Brewin Fendora Hat (£54.99).
I cannot stress how much incredible clothing and accessories that Jules B and if money weren’t an object, I’d definitely buy A LOT of stuff. I especially love the Alice & Olivia brand as that seems to crop up throughout my choices.
Let’s hope that luck prevails and I win the £200 voucher! Keep those fingers and toes crossed.
