Perspirex Review

Perspirex is a roll-on antiperspirant that combats both sweat and odour. You may have seen my last blog on a similar product called Trust. If not, you can read it here. I must admit it’s a little difficult getting used to a deodorant that you only have to reapply every 3-5 days, depending on how effective it is on the individual. It feels wrong even though it actually works as well, if not better, than normal spray/roll on deodorants. Unlike Trust, this one combats both odour and sweat and is also in a more handier form as a roll-on rather than a cream.

When using a long lasting antiperspirant, it’s recommended to apply on to dry and unbroken skin just before you go bed. This is when the sweat glands are the most inactive. Apply a thin coat (two down and upward motions) and allow to dry. In the morning, you wash with soap and water/shower but perspirex will still remain. It’s suggested that you can wear regular deodorant and perfume on top, however this doesn’t stop this product from working. They have a step by step guide of how to use it here.

I definitely prefer this one to the Trust brand because it’s easier to use. However, this one has no nice smell to it except alcohol which turns my stomach a little. It works well though, just like Trust and I found that it lasted a little longer. It’s stocked in both Boots and Asda with prices being £8.49 in Boots and currently the item is unavailable in Asda at the time of writing this blog.
