Ways To Pamper Yourself On A Night In

Life can often get stressful and every so often, we need to kick back, relax and pamper ourselves silly. No matter who you are or how busy your lifestyle may be, making moments to looking after yourself are so important. So for your next night in, try some of these ways to pamper yourself.

Dressing Gowns

Get Comfortable

Whenever I decide to have a pampering night in, I remove my day clothes, pop on my pajamas and wrap up in a fluffy bath robe. There’s nothing like sliding your feet into a cheap pair of cosy slippers. As long as they cushion your feet, they’ll do the job.

Whatever you feel comfortable in, get yourself in it as soon as you get through the door. It will help your mind and body relax a lot quicker.

 

Take A Hot Bath Or Shower

Whether you prefer a bath or shower, make sure you give yourself a good pamper session by cleaning yourself off of the day’s grim that for me is London’s underground. Get out the exfoliating scrub, the hair mask and really go to town on the heat. There’s nothing better than opening up those pores and stepping out of the shower as fresh as a daisy.

 

Order A Takeout

Let’s be honest, no one enjoys cooking after a long day’s work. If you do, then good for you. If you are having a pamper night in however, perhaps push the boat out and have a takeaway. You’ll get your favourite food delivered to your door and what’s more is that there will be minimal cleaning up required.

 

Experiment With Your Skincare

If you don’t normally use a lot of skincare products, this is the perfect time to have a little experiment. Whether it’s trying out some new makeup looks, popping on a face mask or trying out some new skincare products, have fun with trying new things. There’s nothing better than pampering yourself silly.

 

Stick On A ‘No-Thinking‘ Film Or TV Series

Now you may be thinking, what the hell are you on about? Ever get the feels where you want to watch a film but you don’t have to think, you can just get lost in it? Well that my friends is the no-thinking option. 

Stick on a film or television series that requires no thoughts of how or why so that you can totally relax.

 

Have An Early Night

I’m an absolute night owl but often find myself burning the candles at both ends. Therefore every now and again, I get a proper early night and I wake up feeling so refreshed the next morning.

Getting enough sleep each night is important to your mental health but also your overall health. It’s recommended to get at least 7+ hours in.
