I’ve worked with Posterlounge before and although the art they’ve given me isn’t on the wall yet, the recent posters I received from them are – well some of them at least. Before we brought our place, having art or photos on the wall was a no-no. All the places that we rented didn’t allow for it and so it can look quite bare and lacking any personality. Posterlounge has a wide range of wall art that ranges from acrylic glass to canvas prints. I’m so happy with what I got and I love how the frames I picked really emphasize the pictures. Since putting these up, I now want to do more…

When picking out the posters, I knew that I wanted them to be printed on normal thick paper, so I could put them into frames. I quickly realised that I was shopping for black and white prints, and then the occasional gold one. As you can see with these prints, they are all black and white but I have two that are gold which I’m planning to put up eventually. Initially, I picked all these out with the intention of putting them all on one wall. However, when they arrived, they were much bigger than I expected and with the frames added in, it would have been cluttered.
The frame above is my actual favourite because I feel like it’s an accurate representation of myself and Sam. I wanted these pictures to have meaning so that whenever we have family and friends in our home, they immediately feel like it belongs to us. Being normal is certainly boring and the french pug holding it up kind of reminds me of Banksy art. It’s just great and it makes me smile every time I see it on the wall.

These posters, we worked out, would go better together in a row, just like the ones below. These smaller pictures are positioned in our dining area of the room – our living room, dining space, and kitchen are all in one L-shaped space. And finally, the three bigger posters are above the sofa in the living area.

So the ‘what I love most about my home‘ poster is very relevant to both of us because no matter where we live, our home is with each other. I know – feel free to projectile vomit all over this post. It’s true though. And finally, the ‘do it with style‘ poster is how I see both myself and Sam in how we live our lives. We don’t want to be boring, we both have big dreams and this quote from Coco Chanel, I’m living for.
What do you think of my new wall art? Which ones are your favourite and what would you pick from Posterlounge? Let me know in the comments below!
*Disclaimer – I was gifted these prints in return for a honest review. All words are my own.
