If you look back on a timeline of fashion you will see so much variation. The fashion in the 60’s is so different to the 70’s, and the 70’s to the 80’s. Sometimes you will notice fashion from those eras creeping back in because we now call it retro. For example, flared trousers came back in last year and have stayed because of how smart yet casual and sleek they look. So it’s fair to say that fashion over the eras never truly dies, it only grows and evolves and if you look closely enough you’ll see the influence of the generations before us. It goes without saying that this generation is the most creative. Fashion is changing, and it is far more accessible than it ever has been before. So, we’re going to show you how this generation is influencing fashion, hopefully, you can take a tip or two from it!

It’s Becoming Art
Fashion is most definitely like an art form at the minute. All you have to do is look at a catwalk and your eyes might pop at the crazy creating coming down the runway, to some it wouldn’t seem like fashion, it would seem more like art. This is exactly what we think this generation is bringing to the fashion world. There are so many fashion designers who are more free-spirited and creating the items that they want as a way of expression, rather than in a way of the wider public being able to wear them. There are of course the runways showcasing your everyday fashion styles. There are also more ways to accessorise. It’s interesting to see which countries consume the most jewellery per year because those are usually the countries where fashion is more elegant and simple. For example in Dubai, a county famed for its jewels and riches, fashion is discreet yet the price tag is huge. In the US, depending on where you are, fashion is more of a statement and is bolder!
It’s Becoming Accessible
This is something we love about this generation of fashion, everyone can look good! Good fashion is now far more accessible than it used to be, with high street stores offering low prices for a good bargain. You could walk away with a few new outfits and spend less than a hundred. It’s also more accessible for people to shop expensive because of discounted websites, designer shopping outlets, and apps where people are able to sell their items secondhand.
There’s Something For Everyone
There definitely is something for everyone out there. If you like simple styles, you can find it easily. If you like bright and bold colours, you can find that too. We have found that the varieties of fashion are far more acceptable than before, even the bold and the wacky! It’s easier for people to feel comfortable in what they’re wearing because there just is so much available to buy, both online and in stores!
