One of the things I’m really climbing on board for when it comes to fashion at the moment is accessories. I love hair accessories and jewellery. I just think it really helps to complete an outfit and to bring the entire ensemble of it altogether. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and this year there are some diamond earrings trends that are worth looking out for this year. So whether you’re thinking of splurging out some money for your loved one or just fancy treating yourself, here are the best diamond earrings trends for 2021.

Front Back Earrings
When I first heard of these, I was like – wait, what? But they’re exactly like you’d imagine them to be. Basically, you’ve got a small diamond or cluster of diamonds in the front of your ear and then peaking below the bottom of your earlobe is the main design. Honestly, I think these will really catch on because they’re so unique but not ridiculous in the way that no one would actually go and wear them. I think they’d add a bold look for the ears that would be subtle with your hair down but then if you pull it back, you expose the glam.
When I next see something like this available when online shopping, I’m going to pick myself up a pair because I just think this style of earring is going to be a new favourite for many.
Oversized Gold Hoops
Right, I am a fan of the hoop. I’m also a fan of big hoops and I think if you have smaller hooped earrings, to me they just seem like a reserved version of what they could be and what you deserve on your ears. I love big hoops and I have to stop myself from regularly buying too many of them at once. I own two pairs of gold hoops that I alternate between but it’s getting to the point now where I think both backings to one of the pair are different backings to one another.
They’re also getting to the stage where they do not really look as new as they used to. I think one that will certainly be in trend this year are oversized gold hoops. I think if there are a few diamonds in there too, it’s going to give it that extra bad bish glam that I’m aiming for. Perhaps I can get some as an early 30th birthday present? FYI my 30th birthday isn’t until November 2022…
Unique Studs
I honestly don’t wear that many stud earrings but I started wearing these fairly cheap pearl earrings – they’re also not real pearls and now I kind of want my own set of pearl earrings. I also have a few stud earrings that are worth some value but I’ve just never worn and now I’m thinking about getting them cleaned so that I can wear them again.
I think I had an aversion to stud earrings for so long because I wore them so often as a teenager. Now that I’m an adult and can afford to buy my own diamonds, maybe I’ll get myself a pair as a treat. There are also so many different variations and I think these unique styles and designs are bringing the stud earring back into fashion. Drop Earrings
Drop earrings are something that I really love but I don’t actually own a pair. They’re something that I think looks elegant and because of the design, I feel like they’re always going to be in style. I certainly think 2021 is a year to rock some diamond drop earrings, regardless of how many glam events you end up not going to. Why not wear diamond drop earrings whilst sat on the sofa watching a movie? Live your boujee life because I certainly am going to.
Diamond earrings are certainly a show-stopper when they’re designed in this way. I also think they look rather slimming when you wear them, don’t you think?
Clip-Ons
And for those that don’t actually have their ears pierced, that’s ok because clip-ons I feel will always be a suitable option both for those who have them pierced or not. I also think clip-ons have had a lot of focus on them recently that they look just as good as the real thing. So if you fancy some diamond clip-ons, then you’re going to find plenty that suit your budget and the style you’re after. They pretty come in all styles and they’re easy to add onto your ears and to remove.
