LoveMeBeauty – Manna Kadar Lipglosses

You may or may not have seen my recent beauty discovery which is LoveMeBeauty. If not then click here. This is my second month of being part of the subscription which costs just £10 a month to join up. It’s a rolling contract so there’s no obligation to continue with the following month if you aren’t impressed.

This month’s selection was lipglosses, a few EcoTools from last month, some creams and some oils. I was immediately drawn to the Manna Kadar lipglosses because they sounded so good. My only annoyance was that they were tiny. I was expecting them to at least be a half size of the full versions. Should have noticed the volume when I was looking on the website!

The full versions are worth around $19 each so I suppose I did get good value for money even if they weren’t the full size. Manna Kadar is a luxury beauty brand that I’d actually never heard of before. Based in the USA, it was founded by the woman who’s name is the brand name, Manna Kadar. The brand promises long-wearing and double duty on all their products so I was delighted to try out these three nude-ish shades.

What I love about the lipglosses are that they are almost mattifying but they have a slightly glossy finish. The formula is very moisturising and whilst wearing the product, I didn’t feel my lips drying out at all.

Rosette is a gorgeous blush and is perfectly suited for the Spring season. Sienna is probably my favourite out of the three which is typical because of anything brown-related in makeup, I love. It’s quite a creamy brown with slight orange undertones. Shae is a very orange-based pink shade, quite close to a peachy colour. This one is probably my least favourite just because it doesn’t really suit my skin tone well.

I was actually really impressed by the staying power of these lipglosses. They do last for a while but I did find I had to touch them up after eating. When swatching them, they actually left a stain on my arm which I think is also an element of the product which I actually like.

And like before, the subscription package came in another makeup bag which is great but I fear I’ll probably have way too many a year from now. But hey, it’s a great alternative to a box that you’ll likely just throw out straight away.
