– EVENT INVITATION –
The other day, I got invited to a special event held by Pandora. As it’s coming up to peak wedding season here in the UK, it’s important that both the bridal party and their guests are suited and booted. Pandora’s new range of jewellery is perfect for any wedding attire and I got a cheeky first glimpse of them before anyone else did.
The setting is The Ivy, the Chelsea Garden branch and a slightly flustered Natalie walked into the event after going to the wrong Ivy. Yep, if anyone’s going to make a clumsy error like that, it’s going be yours truly.
Whenever I buy jewellery for someone, the first place I go to is Pandora. Their pieces are always stunning and look a lot more pricier than they actually are which is good for the old bank balance. Pandora were showing off their latest collection and with the Summer well and truly upon us, they brought in a professional florist from Grace & Thorn to help us make our own flower crowns.
Now much like the Chocolate workshop I attended last year, I wasn’t expecting to thrive but aside from it being very therapeutic, I thought I did a pretty good job. The florist spoke briefly about the various flowers and shrubbery that they’d brought along with them for us to use. If you ask me now what any of the flowers are, I’d say you’ve got more chance of England winning Eurovision.
There was probably about 10-12 bloggers, along with representatives from Pandora so it was a lovely group session that took place in the most beautiful private room in The Ivy. The space was certainly decorated for the Summer and the new jewellery range was displayed beautifully for all to see nearby.
After a few generous glasses of wine, my flower crown was complete and although it wasn’t as good as some of the more naturally talented ladies in the room, I was still proud of what I achieved.
We were all very fortunately gifted a couple of items from the range and I immediately got the earrings on to show them off with my flower crown on social media. The Enchanted Crowns Stud Earrings (£45.00) were giving me royal realness and having not worn stud earrings in forever, it was a very welcome change. With shimmering clear stones, these regal accessories would make the perfect gift for bridesmaids.
The Vintage Allure Necklace (£75.00) made me gasp with joy when I first un-boxed it. It’s got vintage in it’s name which is a bit of me and it just screams elegance. It’s simple, not too fussy and therefore will probably go with any wedding attire regardless of the part you’re playing in the wedding.
