I’ve lived in London for over four years now and I’m gobsmacked at how quickly the time has passed. As a Londoner, you often commute to the same place of work during the week and it’s rare for me to journey into central London on the weekend. There’s moments though when you stop and take in the view, that you fully appreciate the city that you live in and London is not short of some spectacular views to see and places to visit. So if you find yourself in the capital, check out some of these snapshots.

Seeing this beautiful city from a new level is something that High Flying Helicopter offer and the views are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Whether you are new or a local to the city, seeing the landscape from up and above is really spectacular and offers a new perspective on just how big the city of London is.
I’ve gotten to see some amazing views myself and can recommend a similar experience on the ground. Take a trip up The Shard, Oxo Tower or the London Eye to get 360 views. Primrose Hill and Greenwich Park give you a clear skyline view, enjoyed by many on a daily basis and particularly on Guy Fawkes or New Year’s Eve.

And surprisingly for such an industrial and business located hub, there’s lots of nature to be found from Kew Gardens to Sky Garden, you’ll find plenty of greenery here to whisk you away from city life.
There’s also something always happening in this vibrant town and a few of my favourite events are the Lumiere London, the UK’s biggest lights festival and West End Live during the Summer in Trafalgar Square always has a buzzy atmosphere.
