My To-Do List For March

So at the time of writing this, the sun is shining and it’s a delightful 18°c. For me, this is the perfect temperature and what I would love to have all year round. I’m a right mard-arse when it comes to cold weather, I just cannot deal with being cold so I’m forever layering up. March is one of my favourite months because it’s past the dead month of February and it usually means for me that I’m out of my winter funk and working hard on my blog. So as it’s the beginning of March, here’s my list of to-do’s for this month.

Office Wear

To-Do’s

Read More Books – I have a stack of books in our spare room that I’ve been meaning to read so that I can pass them on to a charity shop because they are just taking up lots of room. After watching Marie Kondo, I have a scheduled purge of all our belongings over Summer that we don’t need. Sam will not know what’s hit him when I start piling all his clothes onto the bed…#ifyouknowyouknow

Start The ‘We Are Knitters’ Snood – I got sent a package from We Are Knitters and I STILL haven’t started knitting. I also realise the scarf-wearing opportunities will be over soon so I really need to attempt it before Summer hits.

Create More Authentic Content – Since I started making money on my blog, it’s become a bit of a money-making machine and therefore I’ve not been churning out enough authentic content. I realised this as I had to start putting #AD on anything that was a paid or gifted collaborations and it turns out that I have way more sponsored posts than non-sponsored. So I’m making sure that I have at least one post a week that isn’t sponsored in any way.

Launch Tilly & Rouge I’ve been working on a second blog that I want to focus a lot more on fashion, beauty and home decor. Like I mentioned above, UpYourVlog has turned more into a business than just a personal blog and I’d like for Tilly & Rouge to be a platform where I don’t let money or brands control my content. The aim for this month is to get enough content on there so that it looks decent enough to launch into live mode.

Plan More Of The WeddingThe wedding in my mind, has been on the back burner until we booked our venue back in November 2018. Now that we have a date though, I feel like there’s this ticking clock hanging over my head and I’m conscious of being too laid back with the process. So, I want to gather my thoughts and perhaps put down a few more deposits or do some more research and planning on what I’d like for the day. You will also see an announcement on my blog soon about my Save The Date collaboration. So keep those eyes peeled.

What have you got planned for this month? Let me know in the comments below!
