One of the best places to find new and interesting music is going to be on digital radio stations. Often, the mainstream and commercial stations will just play the same old songs, and you won’t get much in the way of newness. Using a dab radio you will be able to access a world of different stations, many of which will play new and exciting music that they really care about, not just because they’ve been told to play it for commercial reasons.
Make a note of any artists that you enjoy the sound of and then go and check them out on social media when you can.
Make Use Of The Features On Spotify
If you use Spotify and stick to the same artists and songs, you may not have used many of the features that the app has on offer. One way of potentially opening your eyes to something different is by using the ‘artist radio’ option. From a single artist of your choice, you will get to hear lots of other similar or related artists. Sometimes you will know lots of songs, but once in a while, you will find something new.
There are lots of playlists that have been made by countless users on Spotify. Jump in on some of these in the genre of your taste. If you don’t like a song after you have given it a minute, skip it. If you like something, you can always favorite it and listen to more of that artist’s work.

Reading about music may not be as immediate as listening to it, however, if you follow some great music blogs online, you will find passionate articles about artists that the blogger thinks should be listened to. If an artist grabs your attention, give them a listen.
Similarly, there are lots of great groups and social media pages that provide a rundown on some fantastic new music. Join some of these groups; you’ll find lots of people talking about music, and you’re bound to find something that excites your eardrums and gets your feet tapping away.
