Favourite Products From LoveMeBeauty

You may have noticed that I’ve got a slight obsession with LoveMeBeauty. If you haven’t then it’s basically a pick your own, beauty box subscription service. I’ve had several of these boxes and so I thought I could do a round-up of some of my favourite products. The subscription service is actually changing and more information on this is on their website. I’ll be interested to see a change with the service (although I do really love the way it is at the moment) and hopefully, it won’t be too different that I’ll still want to continue subscribing.

LoveMeBeauty HaulI love the freedom you get with this subscription box because unlike others, you can choose from a selection featured for that month in their ‘shop‘. This is perfect for those who have in the past, not enjoyed a subscription box because there’s been a month that they’ve not enjoyed or there are one or two products that aren’t useful to you.

Anyway, let’s cut to the chase and go through my favourites from the whole load of products I received since I started my subscription.

Eco Tools(Review here)

A new brand that I’d discovered was EcoTools. I’d seen them in Boots before but had never bothered to try any of them out as I’d not really branched out into the world of makeup tools other than Real Techniques. These brushes are such good quality and they are also made from recycled materials which means it’s good for the environment whilst making your makeup look snatched to the high heavens.

Kat Von D ‘Lock-It‘ Setting Powder(Review here)

I didn’t like this one to begin with because I was already obsessed and dedicated to the Laura Mercier Setting Powder which I’ve been using since I visited New York a few years back. The Kat Von D ‘Lock-It‘ powder looked a little too light and luminescent on my skin but since trialing it for a week, I’ve been enjoying the product more and more. The difference between the two is that this one is a lot cooler toned than the Laura Mercier, which means it’s slightly more glowy and therefore it detracts from my dark circles. Great for early mornings.

Perricone MD Face Finishing Moisturiser(Review here)

This is probably one of my favourites and also it was amongst the few that were incredibly expensive and they’d given us full sizes rather than samples. The Perricone MD range is a very luxurious brand and I think I’ve received a total of five products using the LoveMeBeauty service. This tinted moisturiser is perfect for using as a foundation during the Summer and I sometimes like wearing it under a foundation that’s a little too light for my skin when I’ve been in the sun.

Manna Kadar Lip Locked Stain Liquid Lipsticks(Review here)

They’re meant to have a finish of a lipgloss but I think they dry down much more that they’re almost a matte lippy. I love this range because they gave me the perfect nude colours for my skin tone and they came in a miniature version which is great for when you’re travelling or have a small handbag.

Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment – RRP £36.00

I love using this after removing my makeup with the usual Garnier Micellar Water. It’s a gloopy texture but feels so cooling on the skin. I also find it removes any last residue of makeup which has made my skin look a lot healthier. The ingredients in this plasma gently exfoliate and conditions, leaving an immediate smooth and radiant appearance on the skin. Definitely worth the splurge if you want to keep healthy skin maintained.

Jelly Cosmetics Carribean ‘Aruba‘ Bronzer Duo – RRP $24.95

I’ve never heard of this brand before so I was pleasantly surprised when this compact duo of bronzer and blusher actually looks better than my Hoola Bronzer and Blusher. It’s an American brand so I’m not quite sure whether it’s available in the UK. I’d love it to eventually come over though if that’s the case because this is the perfect tone of brown and pink for my skin when contouring and blushing.

Kat Von D ‘Everlasting‘ Liquid Lipstick – RRP £17.00

I’m obsessed with the colour of this liquid lipstick, it’s so vibrant and it’s the boldest red I’ve got in my collection of lipsticks. The only issue is that the ‘everlasting’ part of this lipstick isn’t as long lasting as I’d thought it would be. I definitely have to top it up once I’ve eaten or had a drink but it’s worth it for the colour pay off.

Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads – RRP £14.95

The Nip + Fab range is a brand I’ve wanted to try for a while ever since Kylie Jenner started promoting it. Yes, I love the Kardashian/Jenner family and no I’m not ashamed to admit that. These cleansing pads help to improve our skin’s natural exfoliation process. It’s a light acid peel

Bare Minerals Bare Pro Foundation – RRP £29.00

I actually received a sample of this foundation (can you imagine if they handed out full-sized bottles of this) and I was so impressed with the foundation that I had to buy myself

Bare Minerals Skinlongevity – RRP £48.00

I’m still on the fence with this one so it’s why I bagged myself another sample size recently as it has now featured twice on the LoveMeBeauty shop.
