No matter how many little moments of glee I have over these colder months, I will never love Winter as much as I love the Summer. I crave warmth and endless days of sun whether that’s here in the UK or on holiday. I feel healthier and more energized when the sun is out. I love having a summer glow on my skin. Perricone MD was a brand I discovered through LoveMeBeauty.
LoveMeBeauty is a subscription service that offers a monthly beauty box of products that YOU pick from their shop for that month. The company has featured both big and small known brands such as Kat Von D, Eco Tools and even Charlotte Tilbury. The subscription price has gone up slightly from £10.00 to £18.95 but it’s still very much worth it for what you get.
Perricone MD is a luxury brand and I’ve since tried out a number of products through the LoveMeBeauty subscription. One that I really fell in love with though was the face tinting moisturiser. I’d never tried one before so it was all pretty new to me when testing it on my skin.
The thick but light-weight cream contains tiny pigment capsules that burst once smoothed into the skin and it creates a luminous tinted glow. This can be worn on its own or underneath foundation to tint it slightly.
As you can see from the swatches, the tint is quite pigmented and is the perfect shade for my skin colour. I’d be interested to see how it performs on other shades of skin due to its promise of adjusting to individual skin tones.
In terms of how much of the product I use on my skin, a little does go along way and I like to dab small amounts on my face before rubbing in. Too much of it and you’ll look like you’ve just stepped out of a mud bath. That being said though, it doesn’t look streaky and instead gives you a flawless finish as if you’d just stepped off the plane from a week’s holiday away.
Perricone MD is a luxury brand and therefore this face tinted moisturiser will set you back at around £59.00. Expensive yes but the moisturiser does have other powerful ingredients within the cream that helps with deferring the signs of ageing, boosting collagen and smoothing skin’s texture.
The cream also helps create an even tone to the skin which is perfect for my dark circles and the redness around my nose. Some of the other products from the Perricone MD range that I’ve tried include the Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment (£36.00) which I love using on my skin to remove any leftover makeup residue and the Citrus Facial Wash (£36.00) is also great for cleaning the skin and I’m obsessed with the scent.
I’m so impressed by this brand and I can justify the price because what you’re paying for is more than worth it. You know it’s quality ingredients and that it does exactly what it says on the tin.
