Oh, spring I LOVE you and I cannot wait for you to finally be here. Although with the current weather we’ve had in London, it feels like it’s already here. There’s a Netflix update of what to watch coming soon on my blog but I’ve been obsessing over Marie Kondo recently and itching to have a purge of both mine and Sam’s wardrobes so that we can get rid of clothing that doesn’t bring us joy or fits us. As soon as I do this, the sooner I can do a bit of spring fashion shopping. Spring is one of my favourite times to shop because you can have the in-between wardrobe of lighter materials and slightly heavier ones for cooler days. So here’s my spring fashion wishlist from Maje UK to give you some inspiration for your own wardrobe.
Outerwear
When it comes to coats, I find that travelling on the underground can be a bit of a nightmare because you might be dressing for a cooler day but on the tube, it’s going to be baking hot. I’ve recently purchased myself a thinner coat, almost like women’s trench coats and it’s the perfect material for this type of weather we’re currently having.

I also got to wear my denim jacket for the first time this year recently. Denim for me is one of those materials I feel will never fall out of style. I love how it can make an outfit more casual and it’s just a lovely piece of outerwear to wear at the start of spring.
Daywear
When we have our clearout, I want to separate my daywear to my workwear. I’m finding that I’m blurring the two so if I end up wearing workwear during the weekend, it feels like I’m still at work and vice versa. I love that plaid trousers are still going strong and teaming these with light flowing shirts that you can just french tuck into them is perfect.

I also want to try being a bit more adventurous with prints that may seem like they clash but actually work together really well. I feel like this is also being experimented a lot more in fashion currently too.
Nightwear
As we roll into spring and summer, mine and Sam’s schedules definitely begin to get busier. That also means that we’ll be out a lot more in the evening so I certainly want to treat myself to a few dresses, especially with weddings coming up thick and fast this year too.

I love the mixture of dresses that Maje clothing stores have because they cater to both the more glamourous evenings and those that are a little more relaxed.
