A Post-Christmas Lush Haul

Yep I realise I’m super late to the party but I have to admit that Christmas was a whirlwind of freelance writing (something I do as well as blogging) and unfortunately, it meant I couldn’t get all the content out on time. I’m now finally caught up (thank god) and I can now focus on catching up on my blogging, which is why I went full-time self-employed! Now it’s been a while since I’ve had a Lush haul and I think I put it off because of the amazing perks I used to get when I worked there as a Christmas temp. Guys I used to get 50% off! So this is my post-Christmas Lush haul and it’s also long overdue.

Lush HaulGoing back into the Lush store was really good but I had completely forgotten about the bags that you use to put your Lush stuff in. Due to the fact I was paying full-price, I limited myself to four products. Looking back I wish I got myself the Butter Bear Bath Bomb and the Butterball Bath Bomb. These are gorgeous if you have dry skin and they’re really hydrating. However, I was there to try out the festive range, so it gives me a reason to go back at some point, right?

Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bar

I’m a big fan of anything cute and I realised that after I shopped in Lush, I didn’t actually smell any of the products (face palm). However, I think the choices I made were something I enjoyed. The first was this cute AF Polar Bear Plunge Bubble Bar. Obviously, Christmas is over now so this is no longer on the website. It’s a minty bubbly bar that you crumble into your running bath water. It has a gorgeous shimmer which ends up on your skin once you get out of the bath too. It also contains fine sea salt which is a good exfolatior for the skin. I love the bubble bars because you don’t have to use the whole bar. I just chopped off it’s head.

Lush Bubble Bars

Candy Cane Bubble Bar

Again, another bubble bar and this is resusable so although I broke a piece off, you could put this under running water and take out once you’ve got enough bubbles. Again, it’s another peppermint scent which I have to admit, isn’t my cup of tea. However, it’s not something I’m going to throw away because it has some lovely ingredients in it. Bergamont and lemon oil is a lovely combination and one I definitely smelt while I was in the bath tub.

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb

Golden Wonder is a Christmas classic and one that I think was introduced back in 2017. I would love be the person who makes the different bath bombs because they must have SO much fun. Zesty cognac and lime oils are the main ingredients to this bath bomb. The colours it makes in the bath are amazing and I think that’s the best thing about this bath bomb that makes Lush remake them every year. This bath bomb is huge too so it can be easily split in half if preferred.

Not-So Secret Santa Bath Bomb

And finally, this made me chuckle so I had to get it. It’s the Not-So Secret Santa Bath Bomb. Definitely one that’s aimed more for the kids but then again, I am a big kid anyway. I’m looking forward to giving this a go and seeing what’s actually inside in terms of it’s colour. I’m going to hazard a guess and say it’s red. It has a lemony scent so I’m guessing there’s some lemon ingredients in there.

Overall, a nice opportunity to go back and explore what Lush is up to and a reminder that I need to go back soon to pick up some of my favourites. Did you get any Lush products for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below.
