Holiday Fashion | with River Island

I cannot believe I’m saying this but at during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, I’ll be going to…Magaluf. Yep. The thing that I really should have done at the age of 18, I’m doing when I’m 25. It was a spur of the moment thing organised by myself and some friends, two of which are my bridesmaids to be. So I need some holiday clothes TO SLAY MAGA. Cue River Island.

I’m really excited to wear summer clothes again because even though I’m warming to Winter, I still freaking hate it. Layering and cosy knit jumpers are literally all that make the colder months bearable.

So here’s a little bit of inspiration to get you excited for holiday season.

Swimwear

BikinisNavy Floral Print High Neck Swimsuit (£30.00) | White Crochet Tassel Triangle Bikini Top (£24.00) | Yellow Lace Pom Pom Trim Bardot Bikini Top (£22.00) | Black Mesh Zip Front Balconette Bikini Top (£26.00)

I’m not quite there yet to wear bikinis. I’ve started back at the gym and eating healthier to lose the weight needed to keep fit. Therefore anything high-waisted or full cover swimsuits are the one. I’ve put in a couple of bikinis just to give me some motivational inspo. I love the floral plunge swimsuit, the colours are gorgeous and that plunge neckline is sexy AF. I love high-waisted bottoms because they suck everything in and I love the zip front design on this one.

Day Wear

Day WearBlack Embroidery Cold Shoulder Beach Crop Top (£22.00) | Blue Stripe Frill One Shoulder Playsuit (£46.00) | Black Embroidered Beach Kaftan Cover Up (£36.00) | Light Authentic Blue Longline Denim Shorts (£32.00) | Blue Tie Dye Frill Lace Beach Cover Up (£36.00) | Pink Tropical Print Bardot Mini Dress (£24.00) |

During the day, we’re likely to be lazing around the pool so suitable clothing for when we have our lunch or perhaps if we’re venturing outside our accommodation. I love kimonos, any sort of day dress with shorts on the bottom. I think I’m also going to invest in a pair of longer denim shorts as I doubt the weather is going to be as hot as it usually is during the Summer.

Evening Wear

DressesBlack Floral Polka Dot Halter Maxi Dress (£35.00) | Green Bardot Culotte Jumpsuit (£65.00) | Cream Frill Bardot Maxi Dress (£32.00) | Pink Faux Pearl Button Tuxedo Playsuit (£65.00)

We’re only away for a long weekend so I need to be very strict with what I take. Therefore I’ll probably only pack 2-3 outfits for the evenings to save on space. I’m loving the sharp blazer looks at the moment so that pink tuxedo playsuit is very on trend. I’m also incredibly happy that off the shoulder looks are here to stay for 2018 so there’s a few outfits like the jumpsuit and bardot maxi dress that are tempting me to spend my money.

Shoes & Accessories

Shoes & AccessoriesGold Tone Hoop Earrings (£6.00) | White Floral Embroidered Chain Tote Bag (£48.00) | Yellow Sunflower Knot Headband (£8.00) | Green Tropical Bow Front Block Heel Sandals (£50.00) | Rose Gold Tone Cat Eye Cut Out Sunglasses (£16.00) | Tan Double Strap Flat Mules (£28.00)

I love gold tones at the moment so a pair of gold hooped earrings can take your outfit from casual to glam and I’m obsessed with the rose tone sunglasses. It seems there’s been a trend with bags where there’s bursts of various colours on a plain base colour. I love the white floral embroidered tote bag with the emerald green suitcase tag on the front. For shoes, sandals are my go to for both day and night. I love the floral themes on the wedge heel and the double straps on the mules.

I’m actually really excited to take a little break away in the sun and have a great catch up with the girls as we don’t get to see each other as much as we did whilst we were at university.
