March Goals

I feel as though January and February have been the longest of months and so much has already happened within them but at the same time, it’s gone so fast. We’ve had an engagement party, we’ve had an offer accepted on our first place together and life for us at the moment seems to be moving pretty quickly. Aside from the quick life update, I thought I’d set some goals for myself this month as I’ve not done it in a while and it’s a great way to feel motivated. Like I’m getting the most out of the year.

Monthly Goals

Get A Completion Date On Apartment

Buying a property for the first time is the most stressful thing EVER. I’m constantly thinking about it and whenever there’s a problem, my heart drops. I’m hoping that at some point this month, we’ll have our completion date confirmed and then I’m going to town on my bank balance because we’ll need to buy so much stuff for the new place.

Reach My Financial Goal For Blog

Last month was a bit of a slow burner, a lot of sponsored collaborations didn’t come through until the end of the month and with it being a short month, I didn’t reach my goal. I’ve set myself a target to make £1,000 each month which is a challenge but after reaching it in January, I’m determined to hit it this month. Fingers crossed because this girl needs money for furniture.

Hit The Gym Hard

So myself and Sam have slowly got ourselves back into fitness, eating healthier and exercising more. This month, I want to hit the gym hard by doing as many classes a week as possible and maybe doing a monthly abs challenge. With Paris coming up this weekend, a hen party and a holiday in Magaluf this month, I need to be on top of my game.

Finally Finish Friends

OMG I’M SO CLOSE. I’m on the final season on Friends (having never watched a full season before) and part of me is happy whilst the other part of me doesn’t want it to end. Friends was such an iconic television series and the sad fact is that unlike current shows, this one isn’t going to come back – because I’m like 14 years late to the party.

Read More Books

This one is a really important one because whilst working at Penguin Random House for six months, I read so many books and that’s sort of gone to pot since I discovered you could download episodes on Netflix. DAMN YOU NETFLIX. Either way, I have a lot of books that I still need to read so I’ve got no excuse not to.

Revamp The Wardrobe

I’m in dire need of some denim jeans and various other bits of clothing for Spring. My wardrobe is looking a little sad at the moment with a lot of clothing going unworn. I’m hoping to do a little bit of shopping over the month to invest in some key pieces for Spring. Also with going to the gym, I want to get a few motivational outfits that I might feel tight in, to force me to get fitter.

Have A Spring Clean

And finally, there’s nothing like a Spring clean to welcome in the new season. Especially as we’ll be moving soon, we want to take as little clutter as possible. Over this month, I’m going to get rid of a lot of stuff, perhaps sell a few things and then make a big list of items we’ll need for the new place. I’m pretty sure I’ll feel like a new woman after the whole process. I love a good decluttering!

What are your goals this month? Let me know in the comments below.
